Plan your Boracay visit

Getting to the island, the fees at the port, reaching Station 0 and the casino, and when to go. Fees change, so confirm at the port before you travel.

Getting to Boracay

Boracay has no airport of its own. Every visitor flies into the mainland, crosses to the Caticlan Jetty Port and takes a short boat ride to the island.

  1. Fly to Caticlan or Kalibo. Caticlan (Godofredo P. Ramos Airport) is the closest, about 5 to 15 minutes from the jetty port. Kalibo International Airport is larger and gets more flights, but it is about 1.5 to 2 hours away by van.
  2. Pay the fees at Caticlan Jetty Port and show your ID and hotel booking.
  3. Take the boat to Cagban Port on Boracay. The crossing takes 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Ride an e-trike or van to your hotel.

Port fees

These are the fees reported as of August 2026. They are set by the local government and the port operator and can change, so check the latest amounts before you travel.

FeeAmount
Environmental fee₱300 for foreigners, ₱150 for Filipinos
Terminal fee₱150 on arrival, ₱150 on departure
Boat fare₱50 each way

Children aged 5 and under are exempt from the terminal fee, and seniors and persons with disability get the discount set by law. During the southwest monsoon, boats sometimes use Tabon and Tambisaan ports instead of Caticlan and Cagban.

What you need to enter the island

  • A valid ID. Foreign visitors use their passport.
  • A confirmed booking at a hotel accredited by the Department of Tourism.
  • A tourist arrival form, filled in at the jetty port.

Getting to Station 0 and the casino

KABAN Hotel and Casino is at Station 0 in Barangay Yapak, at the northern end of the island, away from the White Beach stations. KABAN says the trip takes about 20 to 25 minutes by e-trike or van from White Beach.

E-trike and van fares on Boracay are set by the local transport cooperative, and the Malay local government advises agreeing the fare with the driver before you ride. Entry to the casino is for guests aged 21 and over with a government-issued photo ID. The full rules are in our guide to casino entry rules.

When to go

  • November to April (amihan season): White Beach is calm and the weather is at its best. This is peak season, so book early.
  • June to October (habagat season): White Beach can be rough and seaweed washes in, but hotel rates are at their lowest.
  • Busiest and most expensive: Holy Week, and Christmas to New Year.

Where to stay near the casino

Station 0 and the nearby Punta Bunga area have several resorts within easy reach of KABAN, including KABAN's own 88-room hotel. See our guide to hotels near Station 0.
