Hotels near KABAN and Station 0: where to stay in north Boracay
Most visitors stay along White Beach, but the casino is at Station 0, at the island's quieter northern end. White Beach is about 20 to 25 minutes away by e-trike or van, so if the casino is part of your plans, staying up north saves the ride back at night. These are the resorts closest to KABAN.
KABAN Hotel and Casino Boracay
The obvious choice if the casino is the reason for your trip. The six-storey building has 88 rooms, from boutique rooms up to a presidential suite, with the casino floor under the same roof. Facilities include Lamii All-Day Dining, SIGLA Spa, a pool deck and a Skybar overlooking the island.
Crimson Resort and Spa Boracay
At Station Zero on Punta Bunga Cove, Crimson is a short hop from KABAN. It offers suites and villas, some with private plunge pools, and the AUM Spa. It is listed in the MICHELIN Guide.
Mövenpick Resort & Spa Boracay
Also on Punta Bunga Cove, with its own private beach. Mövenpick describes its multi-level pool, about 3,300 square metres, as the largest on Boracay, and it has seven places to eat and drink. It runs a free shuttle to D'Mall on White Beach.
Shangri-La Boracay
The island's best-known luxury resort sits in Barangay Yapak with two private beaches, Punta Bunga and Banyugan. It has 219 rooms, suites and villas, and CHI, The Spa.
Tips for staying up north
- The north end is quieter than White Beach, with fewer bars and restaurants within walking distance. Budget for rides into town.
- Agree the fare with your e-trike or van driver before you ride.
- Every hotel on Boracay must be accredited by the Department of Tourism, and you need the booking confirmation at the port. The steps are in our guide to planning your visit.
