Boracay's first casino is open: what visitors need to know
After years of proposals that never reached a gaming floor, Boracay now has a casino open to the public. Here is what matters if you plan to visit.
Bring your ID
Philippine casinos are licensed by PAGCOR and admit guests aged 21 and over. Expect to show a government-issued photo ID at the door — a passport for most international visitors.
Check the operator, not social media
Opening hours, table games and any dress code are set by the operator. When those are published they are linked from the status page. Until then, treat posts about limits and VIP rooms as unconfirmed.
Boracay is still a beach island
White Beach, paraw sailing at sunset, island hopping and diving are why people come. A gaming floor is one more thing to do in the evening, not a new identity for the island.
